"Fluent in Italian, French, English, and Spanish, Simon Bolivar ensures clear communication with every client."

Growing up as a professional sportsman, Simon Bolivar was no stranger to a strong work ethic and natural ability to work cross-cultures. Applying this professional mindset to his life long passion of dance, Bolivar opened his first salsa dance school in his hometown, La Romana, in 2002. Then in 2005 he was scouted to join Anne Carole Rabien owner of Salsaoco Dance School located in Las Terrenas, Samaná.

Relaying the new “on 2 salsa” movement he learned from “on 2 Salsa Studio” in Santo Domingo, Simon Bolivar's dance school saw incredible growth and success over the next decade, becoming a tourist hotspot.

Throughout the last decade Bolivar has continued to master his art, attending international festivals and guest teaching through France, Italy, Poland, Germany, Australia, USA, and London. He continues to teach and promote the authentic Dominican bachata of his home country. Simon Bolivar even learned percussion instruments to deepen his understanding of all elements of dance.

“Teaching is a gift I have been blessed with and I am so grateful to wake up each day and do what I love.”
